He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cronin and Mary Cronin (Curran); and his siblings, James F. Cronin, John J. Cronin, Agnes Hicks and Mary Pironio.

He is survived by: his children, Danielle Thibeault, Suzette M. Lefevre (Michael), Erin A. Thibeault, Seana P. San Antonio (William) and Denis P. Thibeault; his grandchildren, MacDara Thibeault, Martha Thibeault, Luca Lefevre, Quinn Lefevre, Elana San Antonio, Siobhan San Antonio, William San Antonio, Angelina San Antonio, Roman San Antonio, John Paul San Antonio, Madison Thibeault and Nina Thibeault; and his nieces, Maureen DeCesare, Darleen Hicks and Kathy Ashley.
