George R. Nunes Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George R. Nunes Jr. in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 17, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Maxmean; his parents, George R. Nunes, Sr. and Margaret Nunes (Ferrazzano); his brother Gabriel Nunes; and his siblings-in-law, Gayle Nunes and Jean Maxmean.
He is survived by: his son Paul Nunes (Michael) of Seekonk, MA; his sisters, Filomena Watson (Duncan) of East Providence, RI and Marcianna Nunes (Rick) of East Providence, RI; and his nephew Todd Nunes (Rita) of Warren. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
