She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Ackaway; her daughter Mary Ackaway; her brother Albert Papineau; and her parents, Eugene Papineau and Violette Papineau (Racine).
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Ackaway (Barbara) of Exeter, RI, Michael Ackaway of Saugerties, NY, Alan Ackaway of Dandridge, TN, John Ackaway of Lincoln, RI and Amy Lavoie (Terry Lavoie) of Lincoln, RI.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
