With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen C. Lacy (Providence, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne H. Lacy; her parents, John Metfooney and Habiba Metfooney; her grandson Michael Moskaluk; and her siblings, Margo Paradis, Marie Remy, Joseph Metfooney and George Metfooney.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Lacy and Angela Salisbury; her stepdaughter Julie Harrison; and her grandchildren, Meagan Callahan McCabe, Rosebud Harrison, Rachel Lacy, Jessica Lacy and Sarah Lacy. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Saint Basil the Great Church (15 Skyview Dr, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Saint Basil Cemetery (125 Curran Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
