He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Richardson and Madeline Richardson (Donahue); his wife Irene C. (McDonnell); his daughter Susan M. Richardson (David Romano) of Voluntown, CT.; and his sons-in-law, Mario Della Grotta and Paul E. Smith, III.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheri A. Della Grotta (Timothy Wolfe) of Cranston and Sandra M. Smith of Johnston; his grandchildren, Kaleigh N. Della Grotta, Nadia L. Della Grotta, Madison R. Dewey, Justin M. Dewey, Nathaniel E. Smith and Brendan M. Smith; his siblings, William E. Richardson Jr. and Joan Richards; and his sister-in-law Jeannette T. Hall.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Nardilillofuneral Home & Crematory (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Church (1804 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI 02919). A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at the St. Francis Cemetery (163 Smithfield Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
