Joan T. Hanrahan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan T. Hanrahan of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick McNamara and Mary McNamara; and her husband Michael Hanrahan. She is survived by: her children, Michael Hanrahan (Joan Hanrahan), Joan Hanrahan-Miller (Jim Miller), Natalie Gray (Terrence Gray), Noelle Hanrahan (Maryanne Hohenstein) and Colin Hanrahan (Marc Harrison); her grandchildren, Thomas Hanrahan (Kristin), Michael Hanrahan, Cameron Gray (Mary Sam), Ian Gray, Miranda Hanrahan Beach, Miles Hohenstein, Jaime Miller and Jessica Osgood (Sam); her great grandchildren, Kayla Miller and Jaylee Miller; and her siblings, Mary McElroy, James McNamara and Michael McNamara. She is also survived by her eleven nephews and nieces and fourteen great nephews and nieces.
