With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan L Poirier (Providence, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Eastman (Jacobsen) and William Eastman; her husband Arthur Poirier; and her sons, William and Steven.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie of North Attleboro; her granddaughter Ashley (Ian); her great grandchild Nora of Canada; her grandson Stevie; her great grandchild Valerie; her grandchildren, Mindy, Jessica and Billy; and her half-brother Rickey Eastman. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
