He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Cavanaugh (Graiko); and his parents, John Cavanaugh and Loretta Cavanaugh Sr. (Martin). He is survived by: his children, Kerri Berman (Andrew Berman) of Millville, MA and Eric Cavanaugh (Aimee Dawkins) of Harrisville, RI.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holt Funeral Home (510 S Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (63 Church St, Woonsocket, RI 02876). A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Ri Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
