It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jennings of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Jennings and Nellie Mycroft Jennings; his daughter Mary Ann Wityak; and his siblings, James, Robert, Edward Jennings, Marion Nunes and Margaret Day.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Hooley Jennings of Seymour; his brother Joseph Jennings of Rhode Island; his children, Steve Jennings (Marcia) of Texas, John Jennings (Priscilla) of Seymour, Karen Ward (Charles) of Milford and Mike Jennings (Amy) of Guilford; his son-in-law George Wityak of New Mexico; his grandchildren, Ryan, Colin Wityak (Lindsey), Marisa Davidson (Jonathan), Matthew, David Jennings, Richard (Alexa), Elizabeth Ruggiero, Maria, Sarah and Hanna Jennings; and his great grandchildren, Sage Wityak and Scarlett Ruggerio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
