He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vernon Hammond and Edna Anna Hammond (Martin); and his sister Patricia Louise Freeman (Hammond). He is survived by: his wife Tamma; his sons, Mark W. Hammond (Aimee) of Berlin and Christopher J. Hammond (Kathryn) of Arlington, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Devin M. Hammond, Liam M. Hammond, Aidan M. Hammond and Ryan J. Hammond; and his siblings, Robert J. Hammond and Doreen D'Agnenica. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other caring family members and friends.
