He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Sykes Harrison of Columbus and Monzell Harrison of Kingston, Jamaica.; his daughter Linda Denise Harrison; his grandson Wesley Trent Harrison; and his siblings, Ann Darnell, Fannie Brewer, Monzell Harrison, Louis Harrison, Sam Will Harrison of Jimmie Harrison, T. J and Eddie James Harrison.

He is survived by: his wife Annie Ruth Harrison of Providence; his children, Valerie Jean Harrison (Central Falls), Cynthia Ann Braxton (Providence), Michelle Harrison (Central Falls), Jacqueline Renee Williams of Worcester, MA and Johnnie Harrison Jr.; and his sister Mary Thomas of Orlando, Florida.. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
