He is survived by: his wife Verónica Cortorreal; his children, Wendy Cortorreal, Jenny Cortorreal, José Cortorreal Jr. and Edgar Cortorreal; his grandchildren, Elijah Fernández Cortorreal, Isabella Fernández Cortorreal, Isaac Fernández Cortorreal, Jayden Cortorreal, Evan Cortorreal, Surami Cortorreal, Edgar Cortorreal, Yshalle Cortorreal, Eduardo Cortorreal, Armando Cortorreal, Cristian Piña, Welmin Cortorreal, Jhosttin Uceta Cortorreal and Nelson Uceta Cortorreal; and his great grandchildren, Elif Cortorreal Laureano and Albert Jose Cortorreal.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bell Funeral Home, Inc. (571 Broad St, Providence, RI 02907). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (239 Oxford St, Providence, RI 02905).
