He was predeceased by : his parents, Francisco J. Fernandez and Cristina D. Fernandez (Santos); and his siblings, Juana Fernandez and Cesar Fernandez. He is survived by : his spouse Dominicana Fernandez (Nova); his children, Rosa Dimillo Fernandez (Raymond), Martha Fernandez (Arkymedes Castro), Ana Fernandez (Omar Salas), Jose Fernandez Jr., Luis Fernandez and Marianne Fernandez (Jose Guaba); and his brothers, Rafael Fernandez, Rafael Polanco and Miguel Polanco. He is also survived by grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
