He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Lopes and Ana Lopes (Ramos); and his siblings, Abilio Lopes, Americo Lopes and Ramiro Lopes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mariana Lopes Capela of Bridgeport, CT, Maria Celeste Bettencourt of East Providence, Mario Lopes of Chaves and Maria Candida Rolim of Florida. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.
