He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest F. LaPlante, and Anita LaPlante, Jr. (StAndre). He is survived by: his wife Janet F. LaPlante (Resendes); his sons, Mark J. LaPlante and Brett A. LaPlante (Susan); his grandchildren, Jacqueline and Zachary LaPlante; and his brother Ernest F. LaPlante, III (Lorraine).
