We are sad to announce that, on May 27, 2023, at the age of 91, Joseph H. Shayer of Providence, Rhode Island, born in Mapleville, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Shayer and Mae Shayer (Soutier); and his siblings, Jennie, Harold, Wallace, Ernest, Louis Shayer and Mildred Richardson.
He is survived by: his caregiver Carol Doorley; and his nieces and nephews, Harold Shayer, Jr., Wallace, David, Michael Shayer, Sr., Suzanne Coombs, Barbara Kurmaskie, Janice Rukstalis, Walter T. Richardson and Valerie Richardson. He is also survived by 24 great-nieces and nephews, 26 great-great-nieces and nephews and 9 great-great-great nieces and nephews.
