She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph J. Rigney; her parents, Jeremiah P. Twohig and Eileen V. Twohig (Kelleher); and her sister Mary T. Dillon. She is survived by: her children, John F. "Jack" Rigney (Karen) of Briarcliff Manor, NY, Joseph M. Rigney (Stephanie) of Providence and Patricia A. Reilly (Bernie) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Claire E. Rigney, Elaine P. Rigney (Ti Pham), Michael J. Rigney, Sarah Rigney, Joseph M. Rigney, Jr. (Noi), Hannah L. Pheland (Timothy), Jeremiah J. Reilly and Eric M. Reilly; and her brother P. Joseph Twohig.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home (331 Smith St, Providence, RI 02908). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (239 Regent Ave, Providence, RI 02908).
