Kay Low Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 6, 2026, at the age of 91, Kay Low of Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay Low to pay them a last tribute.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Kay leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore F. Low; her parents, Peter Hohenthaner and Blanche Hohenthaner (Olafson); and her siblings, James Hohenthaner and Marilyn Hohenthaner Sherman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sara B. Low of Providence and Emily Low Boenning (Dickson) of Jamestown. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

She would later serve as Director of the Old Stone Bank Charitable Foundation as well as an owner of a needlepoint shop.
