He was predeceased by : his parents, William Battersby and Gladys Battersby (Lawton); his siblings, Norma Sparling, Robert and Willam Battersby; and his wife Margaret Battersby (Hughes).

He is survived by : his children, Kenneth, Anabela, Susan and Ryan; his uncle Kenny'; and his grandsons, Craig, George and Travis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
