With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucy R. Hart of Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Lucy's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H. Hart; and her father Frank Lancia. She is survived by: her mother Louise Lancia; her sons, Frank Hart (Janice) and Harry Hart (Debra); her sister Terri Underwood; her grandson Adam Hart; and her great grandchildren, Will and Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the A. A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home (200 Hawkins St, Providence, RI 02904). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
