He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clapham and Dorothy Clapham of Lansing, Michigan.; and his former wife Audrey Philcox. He is survived by: his wife Mary Belden Brown; his daughters, Rachel Gambone (Mike) and Molly Ross (George); his stepson Christopher Brown (Marlene); his stepgrandchildren, William and Isabella; and his siblings, Judy Kuzma (Dick) and Brian Clapham (Karen). He is also survived by three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the R.I. Food Bank, or Grace Note in Pascoag, or the Providence Athenaeum.
