She was predeceased by: her spouse Silvestre Gonzalez; and her parents, Francisco Vargas and Maria C. Vargas (Liriano). She is survived by: her children, Francisco R. Gonzalez, Iris M. Carrasquillo and Maria D. Pflieger; her grandchildren, Alana, Alen, Melisa, Pedro, Jonathan, Savier, Jessica, Yameli and Franceli; and her siblings, Juan Vargas, Antonio Vargas, Juanito Vargas, Ana Mercedes Vargas, Ana Rosa Vargas and Dignora Vargas. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
