Maria Filomena Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 1, 2023, at the age of 65, Maria Filomena (Providence, Rhode Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antero Rocha Goncalves and Maria (Lomba Goncalves) of Fatima. She is survived by: her husband Sebastiao Tavares; her daughters, Elisangela Fernandes (Rafael Fernandes) of Pawtucket, Deise Brito of Atlanta, GA and Rosy of Brito; and her grandchildren, Denise, Daylin, Daneya, Demitrius, Delaney, Cristiano, Zoey and Darryl. She is also survived by her siblings, five younger sisters and three younger brothers.
