Maria Orozco Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Orozco of Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Maria had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Maria may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Abraham Letran; and her son Julio Letran. She is survived by: her children, Rolando, Andres, Rosa, Miriam, Sara and María Victoria. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bell Funeral Home, Inc. (571 Broad St, Providence, RI 02907). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (549 Plainfield St, Providence, RI 02909).
