With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Santangelo of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 9, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Renato Santangelo; her parents, Gennaro Calafiore and Antonietta Calafiore (Faiella); and her siblings, Anna Monte, Pietro Calafiore and Pasquale Calafiore.

She is survived by: her son Steven Santangelo (Meredith); her grandson Nicholas Santangelo (Samantha); her sister Teresa Linardo; and her children, Lauretta and Peter. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
