She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Jara and Teodolinda Jacome (Jacome); her daughter Monica Gomez; and her sister Juana Rosa Guerrero. She is survived by: her husband Adolfo Castellar, Sr.; her children, Elizabeth Espinal (Ramon), Wilbert Gomez (Tracey), David Gomez (Katherine), Cecibel Z. Castillo (Alex), Maricela Gomez and Adolfo Castellar Jr. (Jessica); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Christopher, Gabrielle, Michael, Emily, Isabella, Orlando, Victoria, Olivia, Elias, Ariana, Jameson, Jonah and Amelia; and her great grandchildren, Vladimir, Omar, Jeziah, Jayleen, Ezra, Londyn and Arya. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home (971 Branch Ave, Providence, RI 02904). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
