Miriam H. Babin Obituary

We announce the death of Miriam H. Babin (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 72. Miriam will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rabbi Moshe and Helen Babin (Klein). She is survived by: her sisters, Nehama Babin of Bethesda and Dena Levine (Stuart) of Barrington, RI; her nieces and nephews, Daniel Rosenthal (Elizabeth Shaw), Nathaniel Levine (Sarah Bakst), Abigail Levine (Kevin Dillener), Rebecca Levine (Daniel Heller) and Sarah Rosenthal (Erik Laby); her great-nephews, Samuel Rosenthal-Shaw, Ethan Heller, Ezekiel Heller and Max Bakst-Levine; and her great-niece Emma Rosenthal-Shaw.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Jewish Theological Seminary Development Fund or the Massachusetts Bar Foundation.
