She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Kachanis Sr.; her parents, Armand Lemieux and Olga Lemieux (Roberts); and her siblings, Robert Lemieux, Olive Cherry, Arthur Lemieux and Russell Lemieux.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine P. Boucher of Cumberland, RI and Robert E. Kachanis Jr. of Florida; her grandchildren, Alexander Boucher (Amanda) of East Greenwich, Benjamin Boucher (Elizabeth) of Suffield, CT, Molly and Jordyn Kachanis of North Smithfield; and her great grandchildren, Mia Boucher and Maeve Boucher.
