With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul A. Silver (Providence, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Paul farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Paul is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kit" Haspel of Martha's Vineyard; his sons, Andrew (Jenna) and Nathaniel (Christopher Shughrue); his granddaughters, Caroline and Sophie; and his sisters, June Rogul and Susan Silver.

In lieu of flowers, and in the spirit of carrying on Paul's lifelong commitment to philanthropy, the family suggests donations be made to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence, RI 02907 or a charity of your choice.
