She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sumner and Ruth Ellen Dominis Hazard; her former husband Mark D. Stanton of Providence, RI.; and her great-grandparents, James Hazard of Woodstock, VT and Thomas Haszard.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Bruce Brown, Sr.; her children, Abdul Halim Muwwakkil (Muslimah) of Jacksonville, FL, John P. G. Brown (Sharon) of Johnson, RI and Persis Sue Brown Clinton of Worcester, MA.; and her uncle George Thomas Dominis. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great and great grandchildren, a great, great, grandchild, and hundreds of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
