She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Murphy; her siblings, Paul, Francie, Kevin, Patrick, Mary and Peggy; and her brother-in-law Richard Pelletier.

She is survived by: her siblings, Una, Sheila, Josie, Gerald and Aiden; her sisters-in-law, Mary Coyle (Leonard), Breege Coyle and Pauline Coyle; her children, Monica C. Murphy (Susan McCarthy) of Newton, MA, Moira A. Murphy DiBiasio (Ken DiBiasio) of Woonsocket, RI and Robert P. Murphy (Colleen Murphy) of Annapolis, MD.; and her grandchildren, Conor (Sophie), Luke Murphy and Cole Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
