He was predeceased by: his parents, Felicita Ortiz and Jose Gilberto Ortiz; and his brother Jose Ortiz. He is survived by: his siblings, Carmen Ortiz, Norma Ortiz, Iris Ortiz, Olga Ortiz, Felicia Arias, Bertin Ortiz and Luis Ortiz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Skeffington Funeral Home & Cremations (925 Chalkstone Ave, Providence, RI 02908). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Cemetery (73 Church St, Cranston, RI 02920).
