With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ramona Cruz-Martinez of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ramona may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ramona touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her mother Ana Pineda; her children, Juan Gabriel Martinez (Polamya) of Gainesville, FL, Arron Martinez of Providence, Ana Jeni Martinez (Marcus) of Providence and Daisy Marie Martinez of Providence; her brothers, Niles Persand of Providence and Santos Cruz (Ex-Husband Juan Martinez); and her pets, Sonyc, Lily, Sully and Harlem. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews, and her thirteen beautiful grandchildren.
