It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Traversa of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Traversa and Mary Traversa (Rosa). He is survived by: his brother Anthony L. Traversa (Cheryl); his niece Stephanie Traversa; his cousins, Barbara, Arlene, Dolores, Anthony, Virginia, David, Michael and Sally; and his aunt Dot.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM at the Maceroni Funeral Home (1381 Smith St, North Providence, RI 02911). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Church (179 Academy Ave, Providence, RI 02908). A committal service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Ann Cemetery Church (73 Church St, Cranston, RI 02920).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Raymond's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
