It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Borah (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on October 10, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert E. Borah to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Borah (Mooney) and Lewis E. Borah; his son Daniel; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Ann; and his children, Bethany Ackley (Brian), Mary Gorman (Stephen), Thomas (Clare), James (Maura), John (Rachel) and David (Kara). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home (220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, RI 02860). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Margaret's Church (1098 Pawtucket Ave, Rumford, RI 02916). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915).
