We announce the death of Rosa J. Ramos of Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 84. Rosa will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Rodriguez and Hermenegilda Peña. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Rosario (Ana Francisca Caceres), Nurys B. Rosario (Ramon Santana) and Beatriz Frias; her sibling Ynes Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Yinette Rosario, Wilnys Thompson, Jose Enrique Baez, Kimberly Rosario and John Rosario; and her great grandchild Wilbert Perdomo Rosario.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the A. A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home (200 Hawkins St, Providence, RI 02904). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Church (244 Smith St, Providence, RI 02908).
