She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Stanley Simon; her parents, Max Bender and Ruth Bender (Litman); and her sister Hope Prescott. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Oresman (Cathy) of Pawtucket and Lee Oresman (Suzanne) of North Providence; her stepchildren, Leslie Haduch (Richard), Laura Mainelli (Michael) and Gary "Moshe" Simon; and her brother Jeffrey Bender (Carole). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, friends.

Memorial Donations be made to the Lifespan Cancer Institute, 139 Point Street Providence, RI 02903 or to a charity of one's choice.
