She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde A. Canup; her parents, Hugh Kennedy and Margaret Kennedy (Delaney); her siblings, Hugh Kennedy, Mary "Peg" Bouffard, Maureen Lachapelle and Sheila Ann Kennedy; and her sister-in-law Carole Kennedy.

She is survived by: her sisters, Patricia Kennedy, Susan Gaucher and Phyllis Burgess; and her friends, Joanne Cook, Mary, Tom England, Dan Head and Theresa Arnold. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
