She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Gay and Julia Gay (Andrade); and her sister Sharon Gay-Coleman. She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Andrade, Randy Joseph (Coco), Elwood Gay (Maria) and Barry Gay. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
