Simon I. Nemzow Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simon I. Nemzow of Providence, Rhode Island, born in Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Nemtzow and Sophie Nemtzow (Newman); and his wife Jacqueline Shirley (Berger). He is survived by: his siblings, Beatrice Shore, Dr. David Nemtzow and Dr. Dorothy Lippman; his children, Sally Esakov (Wiesel Nemzow) and Martin Wiesel Nemzow; and his grandchildren, Liyat Ben Shitrit, Nina Cohen, Merav Kachlon, Dr. Sophie Weinberg and Dr. Gabriel Nemzow. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
