She is survived by: her husband Juan Raphael Velez-Colon; her children, Charlene Cruz and Manuel A. Cruz II (Aura Cruz); her grandchildren, Anthony Mena, Nehemiah Mena, Annalise Mena and Jalia Cruz; and her sister Raquel Vasquez. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
