He was predeceased by: his father Francis J. Harten, Jr. (D. S.). He is survived by: his mother Mary T. Harten (McNelis) of Lincoln; his wife Nancy Hayes Harten of North Kingstown; his children, Meghan Henry (Joel) of Lincoln, Maeve Harten of Los Angeles, CA and Duke Harten of Denver, CO; his siblings, Maureen Beebe of Warwick, Michael Harten of Cumberland, Paul Harten of Lincoln, Kevin Harten of Salem, MA and Brian Harten of South Kingstown; and his close friend Bill O'Connell of East Greenwich. He is also survived by four beautiful granddaughters.
