She was predeceased by: her siblings, Carole Bell and Ernest W. Carr; her nephew Daryl T. Carr; and her stepsiblings, Leroy Wooden, Jr., Hazel Robinson, Cleo Wooden, Marie DiPina and Thelma Freeman.
She is survived by: her brother Benjamin N. Carr, Jr.; her sister-in-law Brenda J. Carr; her friend Edith Lammers; her godson Isaiah J. Wooden; her stepsiblings, Bradley Wooden, Harvey Wooden, Lawrence Wooden and Marva Wooden; and her nieces and nephews, Hank Bell (Leigh), Benjamin N. Carr, III, Gregory Carr (Jennifer), Lynne D. Bell and Brenda C. Carr (Donnivis).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in memory of Vera Louise Carr to either Steere House Nursing or Hope Health and Hospice Care.
