He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Scarano, Sr. and Rosemary Scarano. He is survived by: his wife Diana Scarano (Halleck) of Canal Street; his son Michael Scarano of New London, CT; his granddaughter Marissa Scarano of Waterford, CT; his stepmother Anne Scarano of Groton, CT; his sisters, Pattiann Fouse of Groton, CT and Michelle Levine (Lenny) of Jupiter, FL; and his sister-in-law Gail Wells. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
