Though Barbara has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Nathanael Bacon; and her parents, Andrew Hutton and Margaret Hutton (Kinder). She is survived by: her son Raymond J. "R. J." Masse, Jr. (Cheryl) of Prudence Island; and her grandchildren, Joseph Maloney, Sean Maloney, Kathryn Maloney, Margaret Masse and Emily Masse.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Prudence Island Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 305, Prudence Island, RI 02872 would be appreciated.
