He is survived by: his sister Kathleen "Kit" Melfi (late Joseph C. Melfi Sr.) of Riverside, RI; his stepdaughter Amanda Winfield of Mansfield, MA; his siblings, Alan, Steve, John, Linda and Bobby; and his brother-in-law George Byrnes of Riverside, RI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
