John Patrick leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John Patrick’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John Patrick will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Basil MacDonald Jr. and Elizabeth Ann MacDonald (McGarry). He is survived by: his in-laws, Ann MacDonald of Wakefield, RI, Joseph MacDonald (Jacquie) of Sebastian, FL, Michael MacDonald (Kathy) of Nashua, NH and Mary MacDonald of Riverside; his nieces, Maggie McDonald (Webb) of Kingston, RI and Bethany Kenway (Ben) of Ann Arbor, MI; his nephew Sean MacDonald of New York; and his great-niece Abigail McDonald of Kingston. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home (350 Willett Ave, Riverside, RI 02915). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brendan Church (60 Turner Ave, Riverside, RI 02915).
