With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph T. Conaty of Riverside, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Conaty and Eugenia Conaty (Roy); and his brother Frederick Conaty. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Conaty (Reposa); his sons, Joseph T. Conaty, Jr., John P. Conaty, Jason A. Conaty and Jarrett R. Conaty; and his siblings, Anne E. Conaty and John M. Conaty. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

“We are so sad to hear of Mr. Conaty's passing. Our thoughts are with you Mrs. Conaty, John, Joe, Jason and Jarrett. We will miss seeing him at next year's Memorial Day parade, the car shows and taking his walks thru the neighborhood. He always had a smile and we enjoyed talking and laughing with him.
