We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021, at the age of 75, Joyce Simek of Riverside, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Domenic T. Melillo and Celia R. Melillo (Savoie); her sibling Amiee Gannon; and her sibling-in-law Thomas Gannon. She is survived by: her husband Charles V. Simek; her children, Charles V. Simek Jr. of Concord, Tracey Devine (Rick) of Illinois and Diane Sullivan (Robert) of Lansing, Michigan.; and her brother Thomas Melillo. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Due to Covid 19 the funeral and burial will be private.

“I'll never forget growing up with my beautiful and kind Cousin Joyce. We shared many family holidays and celebrations, as well as numerous sleepovers. Always a fun time with Joyce, Tommy and Aimee as The Melillos were a fabulous family. Add Cousin Vinny to the group and our celebrations were complete.
