He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Tavares (Carnevale); his parents, Annibal C. Tavares and Sophia Tavares (Viveiros); and his siblings, Theresa Drennan, Jacqueline Bryant and George Tavares.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia A. Tavares of Barrington and Cheryl A. Tavares of Prudence Island; his granddaughter Kendra Jenness of Rehoboth; and his great grandchildren, Ayla and Mason Jenness.
